PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a woman and a 2-year-old boy were stabbed by a man in Philadelphia, and all three have been hospitalized in critical condition.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports (https://bit.ly/2ehzqCm ) police Lt. John Walker says the woman and a 26-year-old man got into a fistfight on Monday night while apparently high on narcotics.

Walker says the man grabbed the child and stabbed him in the top of his head with a knife. He says the man then stabbed the woman in the shoulder and back when she tried to grab the boy.

Walker says the man then jumped through the glass of a third-floor bedroom window, impaling himself.

Police say a weapon has been recovered.

No names have been released.
