EAST AURORA, N.Y. (AP) - A 19-year-old man has been accused of the accidental fatal shooting of his friend inside a western New York home.

The Erie County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a home in the town of Elma around 8:40 p.m. Sunday for reports of a man who had been shot in the abdomen. Deputies say the victim, a 19-year-old Anthony King, died from his wounds after being taken to a Buffalo hospital.

Police say the shooting was accidental.

Deputies say Jake Klocek, of East Aurora, was charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned Monday afternoon and released from the county jail after posting $50,000 bail.

It couldn’t be determined if he has a lawyer who could comment on the charges.

Police say neither King nor Klocek lived at the home.
