MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia has signed three men’s basketball recruits for the 2017-18 season.

Coach Bob Huggins says the signees include Teddy Allen of Mesa, Arizona, D’Angelo Hunter of Louisville, Kentucky, and Brandon Knapper of South Charleston.

The 6-foot-5 Allen averaged 26.6 points and 12.4 rebounds last season at Boys Town High in Omaha, Nebraska.

The 6-6 Hunter averaged 8.4 points and 4.1 rebounds last season at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas.

Knapper originally signed with WVU a year ago. He’s currently enrolled at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia. The 6-1 Knapper is averaging 24.4 points and 5.1 assists through five games this season. He was a three-time all-state selection at South Charleston High.

The November signing period begins Wednesday and continues through next week.
