GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Leaders at North Carolina A&T; State University will soon consider a name for the school’s new student center. One thing they can call it for sure is large and pricey.

The News & Record of Greensboro reports (https://bit.ly/2dlHTBO) the university held a topping out ceremony on Friday to indicate the building’s steel frame is nearly done.

The $90 million student center is scheduled to open in May 2018. The university is charging students $450 annually to cover construction costs. No state funds are involved in building the center.

The 150,000-square-foot center covers two square blocks and will be the third-largest on-campus structure after the parking deck and the library.

Chancellor Harold Martin said he and other school officials are considering “a very small list” of possible names for the center.
