MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee police say a 4-year-old boy has died after he was shot in a home on the city’s north side.

The shooting was reported just before 6 p.m. Friday. The Milwaukee County medical examiner’s office says the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the gun was fired inside the home, and the boy was struck by a bullet. No other details were immediately released.

The name of the victim was not released. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (https://bit.ly/2cT6Sgd ) reports the boy is the third child younger than 13 to be fatally shot in Milwaukee this year.
