WATERTOWN, S.D. (AP) - A Watertown optometrist is accused of burglary and faces a drug charge after she allegedly unlawfully entered someone’s home.

Authorities say Melanie Weiss has been charged with burglary and possession of a controlled substance.

She was arrested after allegedly being found with prescription medication and a garage door opener belonging to the homeowner. Watertown police say the arrest is part of an investigation into similar activity.
