NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in an Audubon Park lagoon.
Police said in a brief statement they were investigating an “unclassified death.”
The body was recovered from the lagoon just before 9 a.m. Monday by firefighters.

The Orleans Parish Corner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
