DELTONA, Fla. (AP) - A tree trimmer working in a central Florida backyard to clear branches broken during Hurricane Matthew died after being electrocuted by a live power line.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office says the 52-year-old man was working on Friday in Deltona when witnesses say they heard him scream.

Two residents told responding officers that they looked up after hearing the scream and saw the man slumped over in a bucket lift.

After getting no response from him, firefighters and paramedics were called and discovered he had been electrocuted.

It was the fifth accidental death related to Hurricane Matthew in Volusia County.
