PALMDALE, Calif. (AP) - A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman says two people have been shot in Palmdale and one person is in custody.

Deputy Kimberly Alexander says deputies are looking for a second suspect in the 2 p.m. Monday shooting.

Deputies are setting up a containment area in the high desert Antelope Valley city north of Los Angeles.

There’s no immediate information on the conditions of the gunshot victims or details on the circumstances.

Alexander says no deputies have been hurt.
