TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - A man with multiple arrest warrants is in custody after a scuffle on a bus with a Tempe police officer.
Police say 23-year-old Jordan Lemons is facing charges including aggravated assault, felony threats and possibly burglary.
On Tuesday afternoon, police were looking for a possible burglary suspect who reportedly boarded a bus in Tempe.
An officer spotted Lemons and pulled him off a bus before Lemons allegedly assaulted the policeman by punching him several times in the head.
The officer defended himself before deploying a stun gun on Lemons and arresting him.
It’s unclear if Lemons has a lawyer yet.
