DUNDEE, Mich. (AP) - Police say a woman and man apparently collapsed and died at their Monroe County apartment as they were about to eat a meal.

Police in Dundee say the bodies of 28-year-old Cameron Hulet and his wife, 20-year-old Courtney Hulet, were found late Tuesday. Investigators weren’t immediately sure what happened and toxicology tests are expected as part of the autopsy process to determine cause of death.

Dundee police Chief Todd Opperman told the Monroe News (https://bit.ly/2eswLS8 ) Child Protective Services recently removed two young children from the home.

Police say they found a pound of marijuana on the kitchen table near the bodies. Investigators didn’t find any signs of trauma or forced entry to the apartment. Police were called to the scene by a neighbor, who initially thought they had fallen asleep.
