AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - Maine’s secretary of state is animated about drawing people into the voting booth this year.

Secretary Matthew Dunlap’s office has unveiled a pair of cartoon videos that explain the process of voting in Maine.

One is called “Registering to Vote” and the other is “Casting Your Ballot.” They are based on the official State of Maine Voter Guide, which is also available as a text document.

Dunlap says the three-minute videos will make it interesting and fun for unregistered residents to learn about voting this year.

The cartoons can be viewed on the Maine Secretary of State website.
