ATHENS, Greece (AP) - Cristian Ledesma scored twice from the penalty spot to lead Panathinaikos to a 3-1 victory over Asteras in the Greek league on Sunday.

Marcus Berg opened the scoring only 22 seconds in and Ledesma made it 2-0 in the 39th minute.

Asteras was left with 10 players in the 55th when Luis Farina was dismissed for spitting at an opponent. Despite that, the visitors pulled one back around 10 minutes later with Nikos Ioannides converting a penalty. Ledesma closed the scoring in the 88th.

Panathinaikos tops the standings. It is a point ahead of Olympiakos, which beat AEK 3-0, and Panionios, which won 2-1 at Iraklis on Saturday. Asteras is the only team with no points after four rounds.

Also Sunday, Veria vs. PAOK and Platanias vs. Panetolikos ended in scoreless draws.
