WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say paramedics found a man burned in a house fire walking to a hospital in Waterloo.

The fire was reported about 7 a.m. Thursday and has been extinguished.

Paramedics found the man a few blocks away and took him to Allen Hospital. His name hasn’t been released.

The fire cause is being investigated.
