CANDIA, N.H. (AP) - A 45-year-old New Hampshire woman has been accused of trying to kill her 12-year-old daughter.

Police say 45-year-old Deborah Deslongchamps of Candia fired a gun in the direction of her daughter and held a loaded gun to her head.

The charges stem from a confrontation at the family’s home on Tuesday. WMUR reports (https://bit.ly/2enTJMM ) police were called to the home for a report of a distraught woman.

They said her husband was on the porch when they arrived, but her daughter was still inside. A SWAT team was called, and the daughter was able to escape.

Deslongchamps is charged with attempted murder, false imprisonment and other crimes. It could not be determined if she has a lawyer.
