BARNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) - A Quincy man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2012 shooting death of a Cape Cod man.

The Cape Cod Times (https://bit.ly/2enoT9D ) reports that 31-year-old David Evans entered the plea to manslaughter, armed assault in a dwelling and a firearms charge on Thursday, the first day of planned testimony in his trial. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Monday.

The plea comes after a Barnstable jury found Steven Webster and Eddie Mack guilty of murder and related crimes in the slaying of 27-year-old Andrew Stanley.

Stanley was found by police in a Hyannis (hy-AN’-ihs) home on July 11, 2012, with his hands and feet bound with duct tape. He had been shot once. He died at the hospital.

Another man is expected to be tried next month.
