CLEVELAND (AP) - Police say an investigation is underway after a passerby found a body near a Cleveland zoo.

Officials say someone walking near railroad tracks discovered the body under a bridge on Saturday afternoon near the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

Officials said on Saturday night the man’s cause of death was unclear. His identity hasn’t been released.

Police say the Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH’-guh) County Medical Examiner will determine a cause of death.

Police say the death isn’t connected with the zoo.

The zoo says the investigation isn’t expected to affect incoming and outgoing traffic or zoo events.

Further details weren’t immediately available.
