BOSTON (AP) - Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found shot to death in a car parked in Boston’s Hyde Park section.

Officers were dispatched to a location on Williams Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Sunday after residents in the area reported seeing a man that appeared to be lying motionless in a parked car.

Officers found a man in his early 20s who died of an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

It’s unclear if police have any suspects or a motive in the case at this time.
