PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say they’ve arrested a suspect who hit a bicycle police officer while driving a stolen vehicle.

Police didn’t immediately release the name of the suspect in the incident which happened about 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

Police believe the suspect intentionally tried to run over the officer, who was knocked from the bicycle but not injured.

The suspect then ditched the stolen car a short time later and was caught by police about four blocks away after running away from the scene.
