ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Gunmen robbed two Anchorage gas stations Tuesday and police say the incidents may be connected.

Police just before 5:30 a.m. took a call reporting two men brandishing guns walked into the Huffman Road Holiday station demanding cigarettes and money.

The men wore black masks and black clothing. Police say they likely fled in a car or truck. Police searched with a dog and could not find the suspects.

More than an hour later, at 6:45 a.m., police took a call of a robbery at the Holiday station at 1900 Muldoon Road.

Two men with guns entered the store, demanded money and fled.

No one was injured in either robbery.

Police are asking people with information about the incidents to call them.
