JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities have arrested and charged two cousins in the slayings of a father and his 13-year-old son in the rural West Tennessee town of Toone last week.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says 25-year-old Damein K. Hamer and 29-year-old Jeremy Hamer have been charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of 38-year-old Joe Robertson and his son Javarrie Robertson.

Their bodies were found Friday morning in a home in Toone, located about 65 miles east of Memphis. Authorities say they had gunshot wounds.

The TBI says a 5-year-old girl and a newborn girl were in the home at the time of the killings, but they were not hurt.

Both men were arrested Wednesday. It is not immediately clear if they have lawyers.

The TBI says additional arrests are possible.
