NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Prosecutors in New Orleans say they won a conviction against a Bourbon Street bouncer who broke a tourist’s jaw in a dispute over a $6 bar tab.

In a news release Tuesday, District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro’s office said 35-year-old Clarence Lacombe pleaded guilty as charged to second-degree battery.

The incident happened on April 2 on the 400 block of Bourbon Street.

The release says Lacombe received a two-year suspended sentence.
