SAN GABRIEL, Calif. (AP) - Authorities arrested a suspect who led police on a chase in an SUV and then ran off into a San Gabriel neighborhood and hid for several hours.

He jumped out of the vehicle minutes later at a cul de sac and ran into a residential neighborhood. A perimeter was set up and nearby Interstate 10 was briefly shut down as SWAT officers searched the area.
