SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 36-year-old woman already behind bars for child neglect has been charged with murder for killing two people near Spartanburg four years ago.

Spartanburg County sheriff’s deputies said in a news release that a tip given to investigators earlier this month led them to enough evidence to charge Crystal Johnson. They did not give any more information about the tip.

Authorities say Johnson helped shoot 45-year-old Randy Cochran and 24-year-old Anna Huckeba. Their bodies were found dead in a car in June 2012. Sheriff Chuck Wright says investigators think Johnson had help in the killing.

Johnson started a 10-year state prison sentence for child neglect in July 2015.

It wasn’t known if Johnson had a lawyer.
