PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a man has been arrested in an alleged road-rage shooting in Phoenix with a bullet nearly hitting a toddler.

Phoenix police say 23-year-old Nathaniel Crawford is being held on $150,000 bond on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, endangerment, disorderly conduct with a weapon, discharging a firearm in city limits and discharging a firearm at a non-residence.

Police say officers sitting inside a restaurant reported seeing Crawford shoot toward several occupied vehicles and buildings and past two pedestrians last week.

They say Crawford initially fired warning shots and eventually fired into vehicles, with one bullet landing 2 feet away from where the 18-month-old child was sitting.

Police say a gun was recovered from Crawford’s car.

It was unclear Thursday if Crawford has a lawyer yet.
