LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) - Recovery efforts for Denham Springs High School and Denham Springs Freshman High, both severely flooded in August, are on track to have students return to campus by the start of spring semester on Jan. 6.

Livingston Parish Schools Superintendent Rick Wentzel tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/2dmnRs1) temporary campuses will need to be established for Denham Springs Elementary, Southside Elementary and Southside Junior High.

The Southside Elementary temporary campus will be set up at Juban Parc Elementary, and Southside Junior High will be at Juban Parc Junior High. Wentzel says school officials are still in negotiations for a location in Denham Springs to set up the temporary campus for Denham Springs Elementary. That decision is expected to be confirmed within the next two weeks.
