HEBER, Ariz. (AP) - Two Chandler men are in custody after Navajo County authorities say they seized 12 pounds of heroin from a vehicle stopped in Heber.

County sheriff’s officials say deputies conducted a traffic stop for speeding on State Route 260 around 6 p.m. Sunday.

They asked the two men inside the vehicle for permission to search it and reported finding five bricks of heroin in the trunk.

The men were taken into custody and book into the Navajo County Jail for suspicion of distribution of narcotic drugs.
