Thirty-four-year-old Abdul Rasheed of Rochester, New York is charged with criminal homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery and a firearms count.

Police say the two victim were walking in the Marshall Shadeland neighborhood shortly after 9:30 a.m. Saturday when they were approached by someone they knew, and he fired several shots after an exchange of words.

The 28-year-old man was hit at least twice in the head and pronounced dead at Allegheny General Hospital. The 29-year-old woman was reported in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Court documents don’t list a defense attorney and a listed number for Rasheed couldn’t be found Sunday.
