SCIENCE HILL, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say one person has died in a fire in southern Kentucky.

Police said the house fire was reported at about 5:40 a.m. Tuesday in the Science Hill community of Pulaski County. One person was found dead inside, and police said another person had been able to get out of the building. She was treated at a hospital and released.

The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined. An autopsy is planned to determine identity and cause of death.
