PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey’s office has a new director of legislative affairs.

The Governor’s Office announced Monday that Katie Fischer will oversee Ducey’s legislative agenda, serve as his principal liaison with the Arizona Legislature and manage state agency legislative liaisons.

Fischer has served as director of legal and federal affairs for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

She will replace Gretchen Martinez, who was recently promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Budget.

Fischer is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
