JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (AP) - The principal of a Catholic K-8 school in western Pennsylvania has been placed on paid leave because he’s been charged with indecent assault.

The Altoona-Johnstown Diocese says 30-year-old Keith Kuckenbrod’s charges do “not involve minors and is not school related.” Details of the charges weren’t immediately available Tuesday.

Kuckenbrod is the principal of Divine Mercy Catholic Academy in Johnstown. The school’s board says it cannot comment further on the matter and Kuckenbrod doesn’t have a listed home phone. Online court records don’t list a defense attorney for him.

Those records indicate Kuckenbrod was also charged with disorderly conduct by police at Laurel Hill State Park in Westmoreland County on Sept. 10.

He’s free on bond until a preliminary hearing Nov. 18.
