FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Former Arkansas offensive lineman Shawn Andrews has been named to the 2016 Southeastern Conference Football Legends Class.

The university says Andrews is one of 14 former players announced as the 2016 class by the SEC on Tuesday.

Andrews was a two-time All-American at UA and a finalist for both the Outland Trophy and the Lombardi Award in 2003. He was awarded the SEC’s Jacobs Trophy in 2002 and 2003 after being selected the conference’s best blocker each season.

Andrews was a first-round NFL draft choice of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004 and played 10 years in the NFL.

The 2016 class will be honored in Atlanta with a dinner on Dec. 2 and before the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 3.
