JAMESTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a 59-year-old woman has died after being run over by a horse trailer that was attached to a truck she was operating in western Michigan.

The Grand Rapids Press and radio station WHTC report Sally Ponstein was operating the truck Tuesday in Ottawa County’s Jamestown Township when she got out. The sheriff’s department says the truck was apparently left in gear and she was run over.

Rescue crews attempted CPR, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
