CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Four people have been killed in a head-on crash involving three vehicles in Clarksville.

Multiple news outlets report that Clarksville police say the crash happened Wednesday afternoon on Ashland City Road.

Police spokeswoman Natalie Hall says one of the vehicles, carrying one person, crossed the center of the road and struck another vehicle with three people inside.

All four died at the scene. Officials have not released their identities.

The car with three people then struck a third car. Officials say the driver of that vehicle refused treatment.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
