ATLANTA (AP) - An Atlanta man has been shot and killed while putting gas in his car, and police say one suspect in the shooting has been arrested.

Fulton County police spokeswoman Maureen Smith tells local media that 44-year-old Kenny Oglesby was at a gas station Thursday afternoon when a black Toyota Camry pulled up next to him. Two men got out of the car, and one of the men tried to take Oglesby’s car.

When Oglesby refused to give up his car, one of the men shot him. Oglesby ran inside the store, where he collapsed and died.

The two suspects fled in the Camry. Shortly before 9:30 p.m., an officer recognized the Camry and chased it until it crashed. Police pulled the driver from the car and handcuffed him.
