“Modern Family” co-star Sofia Vergara once again tops Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-paid TV actresses, the business-news magazine reported Wednesday.

Ms. Vergara, 44, raked in $43 million in the 12 months to June before management fees and taxes, Forbes estimated based on Nielsen data, Box Office Mojo and IMDB, as well as information from industry insiders.

The Colombia-born beauty lands in the top slot, however, thanks largely to “endorsement and licensing deals,” Forbes said.

Her penchant for making a killing off of TV spots goes all the way back to 1990, when a 17-year-old bikini-clad Ms. Vergara shot a commercial for Pepsi, according to Forbes.

This marks the fifth year in a row she tops the Forbes list. Julie Bowen, 46, also of “Modern Family,” clocked in at number 10.

Ms. Vergara’s closest competitor on this year’s list, Kaley Cuoco, 30, brought in $24.5 in a year’s time, although the lion’s share of that is from her $1 million per episode salary on CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory,” Forbes reported.
