Anthony Weiner, the disgraced former congressman, reportedly carried on a monthslong online sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl despite having full knowledge of her age.

The girl, whose identity was withheld because she is a minor, told the Daily Mail she repeatedly exchanged sexual messages with Mr. Weiner in an online relationship that began in January, before Mr. Weiner’s separation from top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

The conversations between Mr. Weiner, 51, and the girl were often erotic, a review of the messages by the Daily Mail found, including one in which the congressman pressed the girl to engage in “rape fantasies.”

“He had some rape fantasies,” the girl said in an interview with the Daily Mail. “It would just be showing up at my house when my dad was out of town. And just start undressing me, being forceful, asking me if I wanted to be dominated. Strange questions.”

She said the congressman was fully aware of her status as a sophomore in high school.

When asked about the relationship, Mr. Weiner did not deny sending “flirtatious” messages to the minor.

“I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgment about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent,” Mr. Weiner said in a statement to the Daily Mail. “I am filled with regret and heartbroken for those I have hurt.”

The girl and her father agreed to sit down for an interview with the Daily Mail out of concern that Mr. Weiner might be sexting with other underage girls.

“If there’s anybody out there that has a similar story that they can come forward, maybe use my daughter’s example to have the courage to come forward,” her father said during the interview.

Describing her relationship with Mr. Weiner as “romantic,” but acknowledging that she did not consider the former congressman her boyfriend, the girl said she does not want to press charges because she believes the relationship was consensual.

She began the relationship when she reached out to Mr. Weiner on the evening of Jan. 23 through Twitter’s direct message feature. She told the Daily Mail that she was interested in politics and had developed an obsession with Mr. Weiner.

Their conversations were carried out over several social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Kik, Confide and Skype.

The lewd behavior was revealed a month after the New York Post uncovered sexual messages exchanged by Mr. Weiner and a 40-year-old woman from Florida, which included an erotic picture of the former congressman next to his curled-up 4-year-old son.

That scandal prompted Ms. Abedin to announce that she was separating from her husband, after standing by his side through several similar scandals over the years.

In 2011, Mr. Weiner was forced to resign from Congress after he was found to have sent sexual messages to a female college student.

Another sexting scandal derailed his New York City mayoral campaign in 2013, when he was found to have exchanged lewd messages with 22-year-old Sydney Leathers under the alias “Carlos Danger.”
