Former President and Mrs. Clinton recently purchased 33 Old House Lane, the house next door to their Chappaqua residence, CNN reported on Friday.
The former and potentially future first couple now own the entire cul-de-sac, CNN noted, a move making the Secret Service’s protective detail a little easier.
The $1.16 million purchase from owner Charles Chepigin, a New York architect, closed on Aug. 11, CNN reported, citing official documents.
Besides the Chappaqua properties, the Clintons own a three-story brick colonial near the vice president’s mansion in northwest D.C., which they purchased for $2.85 million in 2000.
