COMMACK, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a man killed a woman and then fatally shot himself inside a motel room on Long Island.
It happened at the Commack Motor Inn on Jericho Turnpike in Commack.
Police say an employee discovered the bodies when he went to the room at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after they failed to check out.
The Suffolk County medical examiner is to determine the woman’s cause of death.
