SAYLORSBURG, Pa. (AP) - State police were still digging and searching the yard at a northeastern Pennsylvania residence where a coroner and county prosecutor were summoned earlier this week.
All that’s known is that a death is being investigated.
Although the yard being searched is in Ross Township, Monroe County, the Monroe County coroner, Robert Allen, says state police from Lehigh County are leading the investigation.
The coroner won’t say why troopers from another county are involved, and state police have yet to say what’s going on or why, except to say they expect to be at the home for the rest of the week, at least.
Troopers have been seen digging and searching in the yard since Tuesday.
