BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - University officials say students will decide this week whether the school will charge them higher fees to improve recreation options.

The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/2oUPlLP ) if Montana State University students vote yes to increase their recreation fees, part of the money raised will go toward installing a new artificial turf field near the dorms and supporting club sports. The proposed 200-seat turf would allow club sports such as rugby to play year-round. University officials say any remaining money raised for club sports would go toward student clubs.

MSU students would also allow $500,000 from existing student fees to be used to upgrade the existing rock-climbing wall and install a new wall.

The students will cast their votes April 11 and 12.
