MIAMI (AP) - Atlanta Braves right-hander Chaz Roe has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained back, and right-hander Jason Hursh has been recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett.

Roe, who has been dealing with the injury since spring training, has allowed four runs in two innings of relief this season. Hursh, Atlanta’s top pick in the 2013 draft, allowed no runs in two relief appearances in the minors.

The moves came before Wednesday’s game at Miami.
