FULTON, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities have identified the body of a woman found in a central New York river last weekend, and police are saying her death is considered suspicious.
Police in the Oswego County city of Fulton say Wednesday they’ve identified the woman as 39-year-old Amber Neivel of nearby New Haven.
Offers were called to the Oswego River on Sunday morning after someone reported a body floating between bridges spanning the waterway.
Police are still looking into how she died, but they say the death has been deemed suspicious.
