The Miami Heat were one of the better NBA teams since January with a 30-11 record.

That wasn’t good enough, however, to make the NBA playoffs, considering Miami went 11-30 for the first half of the season. The second-half turnaround was unprecedented and one of the more remarkable storylines in the NBA this year.

But the Heat missed the playoffs because of tiebreakers and it left Heat coach Erik Spoelstra speechless for nearly 30 seconds in his postgame press conference Wednesday before going on how proud he was of his team.

The Heat beat the Wizards 110-102 and finished the season 41-41.
