GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect is in custody after he allegedly stole a vehicle from a Goodyear dealership.

Goodyear police say 32-year-old Desmond Anderson was arrested Friday morning.

They say Anderson was armed when he walked into the Yates GMC dealership around 7:15 a.m. and allegedly demanded keys to a vehicle.

Authorities pursued the suspect and stopped Anderson on Interstate 10 east of Chandler.

Police say they located the stolen vehicle after the Onstar system was activated.

It wasn’t immediately known if Anderson has a lawyer yet.
