BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Bismarck man has been sentenced to 13 years in federal prison for dealing methamphetamine in the city in late 2015.

Authorities say 53-year-old Jose Tovar distributed “multiple ounces” of the drug. The case was investigated by a local narcotics task force and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

U.S. Attorney Chris Myers says Tovar will be on supervised release for 10 years following his prison term.
