ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) - A man who robbed multiple stores and restaurants in Northern Virginia has received a life sentence for his crimes.
The Washington Post reports (https://wapo.st/2pqVvk2 ) that 35-year-old Larry Pyos was given a 115-year sentence in Alexandria federal court on Friday stemming from an armed robbery conviction last year.
But Pyos didn’t commit just one robbery. He first robbed a supermarket in Falls Church with a gun in December of 2015, and over the next several months robbed two restaurants in the area. He twice fired at employees who tried to follow him. During one robbery a restaurant worker was hit in the foot by a bullet fragment.
