BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A Baton Rouge man has been arrested after authorities say he raped a woman and inappropriately touched her daughter.

Local media outlets report 49-year-old Theodore Poydras was arrested Saturday on several charges, including third-degree rape.

According to an East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office arrest report, the woman went to a hospital and said Poydras had forced her to engage in sex two weeks prior. She said the two had previously engaged in consensual sex, but that this time he forced himself on her.

The woman later authorities that Poydras may have also assaulted her daughter. The daughter told deputies in an April 14 interview that Poydras had exposed himself to her, touched her inappropriately and threatened to kill her and her mother if she told anyone.

It’s unclear if Poydras has an attorney.
