PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a man has been stabbed to death by a friend when a day of fishing ended in an argument at the suspect’s home.
Jefferson County deputies say 47-year-old Tommy Tumlin was found dead Sunday inside the home near Pine Bluff.
The sheriff’s office says Tumlin and the friend spent Saturday fishing and drinking, and when they returned to the suspect’s home the man and his wife argued.
Authorities say Tumlin intervened and the wife left the home, then the suspect and Tumlin argued with the suspect eventually stabbing Tumlin.
The suspect was arrested on a first-degree murder warrant and is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
