LOS ANGELES (AP) - A 15-year-old boy is in a hospital in critical condition after he was shot near a police station in South Los Angeles.

Los Angeles police spokeswoman Liliana Preciado says the shooting most likely connected to a gang rivalry was reported at about 4 p.m. Monday near the 77th Street Station.

Preciado says they are looking for two male suspects who approached the victim and shot him.

The boy was taken to a hospital, where he’s in critical condition.
